Record of Ragnarok III released all 15 episodes on Netflix worldwide on December 10, 2025, then aired on Japanese TV from April 3 to June 26, 2026, and it streams with an English dub. The score going in was three wins for the gods and three for humanity. Dead even, with seven rounds left, and Season 3 throws the most stylish fighters of the tournament into the next three. The first emperor of China, a scientist who wants to prove humans can surpass gods, and a Spartan king who despises arrogance more than he fears death.
Record of Ragnarok III Release Date and Global Streaming Schedule
Record of Ragnarok III is a Netflix-first release, which explains why its Japanese TV dates and its streaming date are four months apart. All 15 episodes went live on Netflix on December 10, 2025, and the season aired weekly on Tokyo MX, BS11 and other channels from April 3 to June 26, 2026. If you are outside Japan, the Netflix date is the one that matters.
Netflix vs. Japanese TV: Where to Watch
Netflix streams Record of Ragnarok III in almost every country, with English audio and subtitles alongside the Japanese original. All three seasons sit on the same Netflix page. The exceptions are the places Netflix does not operate, such as China, North Korea, Crimea, Russia and Syria. The Japanese TV run on Tokyo MX and BS11 is for viewers in Japan, and the official anime site has those broadcast details.
Broadcast Time & Episode Rollout
There is no weekly wait on Netflix. The whole season dropped at once, so you can watch all three rounds in a weekend. The production changed for this season: Yumeta Company and MARU animation took over animation, and Koichi Hatsumi replaced Masao Okubo as director.

Fifteen episodes for three fights means each round gets room to breathe, with long flashbacks into who these fighters were before Valhalla. That pacing decides how each fight lands.
Rounds 7 to 9 Plot: Humanity Needs Seven Wins
The tournament is 13 one-on-one fights. If the gods win seven, humanity is wiped out. If humanity wins seven, it survives. After Season 2 the score stood at 3 to 3, so every round in Season 3 swings the whole war.
Round 7 pits Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China, against Hades, king of the underworld and Poseidon's older brother. Round 8 sends Nikola Tesla, armed with inventions the gods do not understand, against Beelzebub, the Lord of the Flies. Round 9 brings King Leonidas of Sparta against Apollo, the god of light, in a clash between a man who despises arrogance and the most self-admiring god in the pantheon.
Völundr: The Valkyries Behind the Weapons
No human fights alone. Each one bonds with one of Brunhilde's Valkyrie sisters through Völundr, turning her into a divine weapon. Alvitr fights with Qin Shi Huang, Göndul with Tesla, and Geirölul with Leonidas. If the human dies, the Valkyrie dies too, which makes Brunhilde's whole strategy a series of bets on her own sisters' lives.
And Brunhilde has reasons for this war that she has never fully explained.
Qin Shi Huang, Siegfried and the Primordial Gods
Qin Shi Huang is the breakout star of Season 3. Kaito Ishikawa voices him as a smiling, unshakable ruler who refuses to accept anyone standing above him, and his fight with Hades is the most-searched part of the season. Does Qin Shi Huang die? Spoiler: no. He wins Round 7 and puts humanity ahead for the first time. The cost of that win, and what Hades fights for, are best seen rather than read.
Siegfried is the other name everyone is searching. He is a hero the gods keep imprisoned, voiced by Kosuke Toriumi, and he is deeply connected to Brunhilde. The anime only lets you glimpse him, but he is a big part of why she started the tournament at all. Searches for the "primordial gods" point the same direction: the manga hints that Odin is pursuing a hidden plan of his own, and the war in the arena may not be the only war in Valhalla. Here are the fighters and Valkyries of Season 3, with their Japanese voice actors (CV).
Qin Shi Huang (CV: Kaito Ishikawa)
The first emperor of China and humanity's fighter in Round 7. Calm, proud and impossible to intimidate.
Hades (CV: Ryotaro Okiayu)
King of the underworld and Poseidon's older brother. The gods' fighter in Round 7.
Nikola Tesla (CV: Shin Furukawa)
The inventor who believes science can carry humanity past the gods. Humanity's fighter in Round 8.
Beelzebub (CV: Daisuke Namikawa)
The Lord of the Flies, a gloomy and dangerous god who fights in Round 8.
King Leonidas (CV: Hiroshi Shirokuma)
The Spartan king who hates arrogance and authority. Humanity's fighter in Round 9.
Apollo (CV: Kenichi Suzumura)
The god of light, beautiful and fully aware of it. The gods' fighter in Round 9.
Brunhilde (CV: Miyuki Sawashiro)
The eldest Valkyrie, who forced the gods to hold Ragnarok and chooses humanity's fighters.
Alvitr (CV: Shiori Mikami)
The Valkyrie who becomes Qin Shi Huang's weapon through Völundr.
Göndul (CV: Misako Tomioka)
The Valkyrie paired with Nikola Tesla.
Geirölul (CV: Mai Todo)
The Valkyrie paired with King Leonidas.
Three rounds, three very different gods. The manga is already several fights further along.

Japan announced Record of Ragnarok IV on June 27, 2026, with a teaser, a new logo and art by Azychika, and confirmed it will cover the 10th and 11th battles: Okita Soji against Susano'o, the ultimate sword duel, and Simo Häyhä, history's deadliest sniper, against Loki. No release window, studio or platform has been announced yet, though every season so far has premiered on Netflix.
