Link Click: Bridon Arc is a 6-episode prequel that premiered on bilibili on December 27, 2024. Its Japanese dub aired on Fuji TV from February 4 to March 25, 2026, re-cut into 8 episodes, and Crunchyroll streams it outside China. Here is the strange part: the one season that explains Cheng Xiaoshi's past is set before Season 1, when he does not even have his powers yet. A single photograph holds a clue about his missing parents, and Lu Guang follows it to a foreign city, knowing how this story is supposed to end.

The Bridon Arc has two release dates, depending on which version you mean. The original Chinese version ran on bilibili from December 27, 2024, to January 31, 2025, with a 65-minute premiere. The Japanese dub, produced by Aniplex and Sony Music Solutions, aired on Fuji TV's late-night B8station block every Wednesday from February 4 to March 25, 2026. That run is why it sits in our Winter 2026 coverage.

Crunchyroll vs. bilibili: Where to Watch

Crunchyroll streams Link Click in most countries outside China and Japan, including both earlier seasons and the Bridon Arc, and it carries an English dub. bilibili and bilibili.tv stream the original Chinese version with English subtitles. In Japan, the Japanese dub aired on Fuji TV. So, "link click bridon arc japanese dub": it exists, it is excellent, and it is the version that aired this winter.

Broadcast Time & Episode Rollout

Is the Bridon Arc only 6 episodes? In Chinese, yes. In Japan, the same story aired as 8 weekly TV episodes, because the long premiere had to fit a standard 30-minute slot. Nothing new was added, so you do not need to watch both versions.

The episode count is the easy question. The hard one is where this story fits, because it changes how you see the last two seasons.

Bridon Arc Plot: Lu Guang Retraces the Path of Fate

At bilibili's December 2024 event, the staff confirmed it: the Bridon Arc is a prequel, set before Season 1, when Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang are still students at Guidu University. Cheng Xiaoshi does not have his power yet. Lu Guang does.

The story starts at the Time Photo Studio, where a photo turns up with clues about Cheng Xiaoshi's parents. To find the truth, Lu Guang goes with him to Bridon, the series' version of a foggy European capital. The official synopsis frames it as Lu Guang going back to the beginning to save his friend and trying to break a fate of death that has already been set. If you have seen Season 2, you know why that line is so heavy.

The Bridon Arc is short, but it answers the question the whole series has circled: who were Cheng Xiaoshi's parents, and why does everything keep leading back to them?

Bridon's New Players: Xia Fei, Vein and Liu Xiao

Bridon is full of people with their own agendas. Xia Fei is a friendly top model, Vein runs the city's Chinatown, and Liu Xiao is the brother of Liu Min, with a connection to the photo studio he will not explain. Each of them wants something from the two students, and none of them says exactly what. The arc also brings in Wang Qing, and her role turns out to be tied directly to the mystery of Cheng Xiaoshi's mother.

Every new face makes Lu Guang's choice harder, which is why his character carries this arc.

Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi: The Friendship at the Heart of Link Click

The Bridon Arc belongs to Lu Guang. In the main series he is the calm one, the one who reads the photos and keeps Cheng Xiaoshi alive. Here, he is the one who knows too much and cannot say it. That makes the arc's best moments quiet ones: Lu Guang watching his friend walk toward a truth that might break him.

The search data shows people asking whether Link Click has BL in it, or whether there is a kiss scene. The answer is no. Link Click is a story about friendship and loyalty, and the bond between the two leads is the emotional core, not a romance. Here is the Japanese dub cast for the Bridon Arc:

  • Cheng Xiaoshi / Toki (Japanese: Toshiyuki Toyonaga): the impulsive one who dives into photos, before he has his power.
  • Lu Guang / Hikaru (Japanese: Takahiro Sakurai): the calm partner who knows what is coming.
  • Qiao Ling / Lin (Japanese: Aoi Koga): the friend who keeps the studio running.
  • Liu Xiao (Japanese: Natsuki Hanae): Liu Min's brother, with his own reasons for being in Bridon.
  • Xia Fei (Japanese: Junya Enoki): a top model with a friendly face.
  • Vein (Japanese: Yuma Uchida): the leader of Bridon's Chinatown.
  • Wang Qing (Japanese: Miyuki Sawashiro): a key figure in the mystery of Cheng Xiaoshi's mother.

Once you know what happened in Bridon, there is only one place to go next.

Link Click is an original donghua created by Li Haoling, not an adaptation, so there is no manga or novel running ahead of the anime. The show is the story. That makes watch order the real question:

  • Season 1 (2021, 12 episodes): the Time Photo Studio and its first clients.
  • Season 2 (2023, 12 episodes): the story turns darker and more personal.
  • Bridon Arc (2024–2025, 6 episodes; Japanese dub 2026): the prequel. Watch it after Season 2, as it was released, because it assumes you know what Season 2 revealed.
  • Season 3 (2026): the next main season. Part 1 premiered on bilibili on August 14, 2026, and Crunchyroll streams it outside China and Japan.

Even though the Bridon Arc is set first, watching it before Season 1 would ruin the twists it is built around. Release order is the way to go.
